GRACE MANNA HOUSE

  1. HISTORY
  2. Grace Manna House is a home for orphans, underprivileged children and destitute. It was formed in 1994 and was officially opened by Datuk Sri Ling Liong Sik on the 14 January 1995. It was while Michael & Sarah Martin were sheltering and providing for a baby born out of wedlock. During this time a vision was given to Michael Martin in a dream. "A little girl was smeared with dirt all over her body. She looked like one who is dead. But as Michael Martin carried her in his arms lifting up, a shower of water fell upon her and all the dirt was washed away by the shower of water. Instantly the little girl’s eyes opened and she smiled and I was filled with great joy and the vision was gone."

From then onwards orphans and underprivileged children come into this home for help. At present there is seventeen children and another home call Grace Manna Recovery Home with nine adults. Some are orphans and some have parents. The adults in Recovery Home are people who have been hurt very badly and they end up in mental breakdown. Through much patience, care love and prayer their lives have been restored. A number of them have recovered from these hurts and have gone home to be with their parents while a few remain with us for long term healing and health.
