Segamat Inland Port in Johor

Below are a collection of photos we took of the Segamat Inland Port (SIP) on the 29th November 1998. The pics may be a bit dark because it was an overcast day.

On the 23rd March 1999, SIP held a soft-launch. It was officiated by its Chairman, Dato' Nik Ibrahim Kamil b.Tan Sri Ahmad Nik Ahmad Kamil.

SIP is a joint-venture between Klang Port Authority, Technopark Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Johor State Economic Development Corporation), Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (Malayan Railway) and Segamat Consolidated Plantations Berhad.

SIP provides a one-stop centre for cargo carriage and acceptance. Below is a list of services offered by SIP :
