3D Gaming
I have been trying some of the latest 3D games in my spare time. These include Quake 2 , Heretic 2, Rogue Squadron and Populous. From my experience with these games, I strongly recommend that true 3D Gamers out there be ready to fork out some money for decent 3D Graphics Accelereators to maximise their 3D experience.

I upgraded my Intel i740 Accelerator (8MB) to a Creative Gameblaster TNT Riva (16MB) and experienced true 3D thrills with it especially with Quake 2. With a network at home, it was even more thrilling playing against another player. My brother and I had many enjoyable "killing" experiences on many sleepless nights.
