Ajiya investing RM30mil in second plant in Thailand

SEGAMAT: Ajiya Bhd is investing RM30mil to set up a safety glass processing plant in Thailand this year the company's second after a metal roofing manufacturing plant there.
Managing director Chan Wah Kiang said construction of the facility would start any time now and was expected to be completed by the end of the year.
One Segamat Mall Soft Opening

One Segamat Mall had a soft opening last Saturday, 14th April 2012. Until the soft launch, 1 Segamat Mall only had Lotus Five Star(LFS) cinema as it's only active tenant.
The soft opening saw the main level open to the public with around 20 stores.

BATU PAHAT: Homegrown merchandise chain UO Superstore Sdn Bhd will have 11 stores by June this year, with six of them located in Johor, UO chairman Datuk Zahari Omar said.
He said this at the opening of the new store at The Summit Batu Pahat in Jalan Bakau Chondong, adding that two superstores would soon be operational in Kluang and Segamat.

KipMart opened it's door on christmas eve 2011. Even though I was under the impression it was a shopping mall, it is actually a Shopping warehouse/complex catering to low to medium income groups.It does have some good facilities such as it's outdoor play ground, large parking area, wide walkways and clean toilets.
