One of the new businesses catering to this emerging market is Check Point 5. This business was started last year by a bike enthusiast Joey Ng, with a brand new shop in Segamat Baru. Joey caters for a wide range of customers from kids bikes to professional level racing and mountain bikes.

Check Point 5 have a good range of products catering to the discerning bicycle community. They have Bicycles from ... helmets from ..., gears from Shimano, jerseys and gloves, racing shoes, lights, security and locking devices, tyres, etc.

Check Point 5 also is a hub for local enthusiast to organise and run bike events. Their most recent one was joining the Alor Gajah ride event.
